World Mental Health Day

Today is World Mental Health Day and we began the day with a guided meditation followed by a shared breakfast for all parents, pupils and staff.

The children wore yellow and kindly donated money to the charity Young Minds.

The children attended assemblies on the importance of good mental health with a focus on the statement ‘I AM ENOUGH’ and completed related activities and art work in their classes.

We finished the day with a walk and talk in the woods with all parents, pupils and staff invited.

We would like to say huge thanks to Mrs Freel, our Mental Health Designated Safeguarding Lead, for organising this wonderful event.
