Maharishi School

secondary curriculum – Sport

knowledge is structured in consciousness

At Maharishi School fun and enjoyment are the main reasons  pupils take part in physical activity.  Being with friends and the sense of belonging to a team and achieving also encourages pupils to take part.
The whole of the secondary phase do sport together on a Friday afternoon which gives all of the pupils an opportunity to spend time with the other year groups. The pupils have learnt Karate and some pupils have gained their yellow belt. They have also enjoyed, football, dance, rugby, netball, orienteering, hockey, swimming and many other sporting activities.
In addition,  we offer a very popular and successful Duke of Edinburgh programme including opportunities to earn both Bronze and Silver Awards.
